The role available is for an Associate Medical Staff member, working part-time in the Plasma Operations category, specifically in the Medical Operations family. This position is based in Joliet, Illinois. The Associate Medical Staff is responsible for evaluating donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures under general supervision, ensuring that plasma donation processes are conducted safely and effectively. Key tasks include donor interviews, medical history reviews, and assessing test results to determine ongoing eligibility for donation. The person in this role also provides limited emergency medical care, administers medication or treatments as per licensure, and collaborates with the Center Medical Director to address medically related inquiries.

Candidates must have a strong background in healthcare, including graduation from paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school, or naturopathic medical training programs. Preference is given to those with experience in plasma or blood collection centers or similar regulated environments. This position requires the ability to perform physical assessments and respond appropriately to donor reactions or medical emergencies. The pay range varies depending on the specific medical credentials, from $26.82 to $39.30 per hour.
