Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three months clerical or customer service experience preferably in medical or health provider environment
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to see, speak with customers and observe equipment operation
- ability to stand and walk up to 100 percent of time
- ability to reach, bend, kneel and demonstrate manual dexterity
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
- ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures and blood borne pathogens
- willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
- willingness to work overtime and extended hours as needed to support operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service related position preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to perform basic math calculations

- ability to maintain confidentiality
- strong attention to detail
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs
- perform health screening procedures including blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature
- perform finger stick to obtain donor hematocrit and total protein levels
- educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products and donation process upon completion of training
- register applicant and transfer donors as needed
- answer telephone and address donor inquiries or transfer to appropriate staff
- maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff
- alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues
- ensure accurate recording of donor data in electronic management system
- maintain clean and efficient work environment and ensure sufficient supplies
- follow health, safety, and environmental policies including OSHA guidelines
- maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information
- perform cross-training in other areas as required
- utilize bilingual skills if applicable
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
