We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring that every patient receives a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience from the moment they enter our practice. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, referral coordination, and supporting clinic workflow. This position requires excellent communication skills, a patient-centered attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in accuracy and organization, ensuring all administrative aspects of patient care run seamlessly.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week, typically scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Occasional same-day travel to satellite clinics may be required, providing an opportunity to engage with diverse patient groups and clinic settings. Job Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in a medical office scheduling or customer service role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties
- Greet and register patients ensuring accuracy of demographic insurance and medical information
- Schedule appointments for multiple providers including specialty and follow-up visits
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed
- Coordinate referrals with outside clinics and providers
- Answer patient calls messages and scheduling requests with professionalism and empathy
- Support clinic workflow by communicating effectively with technicians nurses and physicians
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with organizational standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience from start to finish
