As a Patient Service Representative at Highline Physical Therapy, you will play a central administrative and customer-facing role within this dynamic healthcare setting. This full-time position (40 hours per week) includes a competitive pay range of $18 to $22 per hour and offers a robust benefits package. Your core responsibility will involve ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients visiting the clinic by delivering exceptional customer service, managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate patient records, and fostering effective communication between patients, clinicians, and other staff members. You will be integral in supporting the seamless operation of the front office and clinic areas, assisting with administrative duties such as handling patient inquiries, managing documentation, and supporting inventory control and office organization. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficiency with office and scheduling software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday

  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately
  • Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient’s needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience
  • Assist front office with tasks during downtime including answering the phone, scanning documents, scheduling patients, taking payments, filing, and faxing
  • Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment including daily cleaning and stocking supplies
