We are a well-established Vascular Surgery Specialty Practice committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients within Connecticut and western Massachusetts. As part of the esteemed Trinity Health Of New England network, our multidisciplinary group comprises primary care providers, specialists, and surgeons dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of medical services including primary care, specialty care, surgery, urgent care, rehabilitation, as well as imaging and laboratory services. Our collective mission is driven by a patient-centric philosophy that emphasizes compassion, respect, and person-centered care, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of healthcare tailored to their unique needs. Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we prioritize teamwork and collaboration to enhance provider productivity and optimize patient outcomes. We also strive to foster a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and professional development, providing ample opportunities for career growth and advancement.
We are currently seeking a motivated and organized professional to join our front office team in a full-time position during the day shift. This role centers on supporting patient registration, appointment scheduling, and overall front office operations within our vascular surgery specialty practice. The successful candidate will play an integral part in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining effective communication channels between patients and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include greeting and communicating with patients either by phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner, promptly and accurately answering telephones using established scripts, transferring patient calls to appropriate staff members or providers in a timely fashion, and scheduling patient appointments in adherence to departmental protocols designed to maximize provider efficiency and patient satisfaction.
This position demands a candidate who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced setting, possesses excellent organizational and keyboard skills, and demonstrates accuracy and dependability in all tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Windows-based computer environments are essential for success in this role. Prior experience within a medical office or billing department is preferred, along with knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology, to ensure the highest levels of service delivery and operational accuracy. Our team-oriented environment is supportive and collaborative, dedicated to enhancing the patient experience through excellent communication and efficient administrative processes.
This opportunity offers attractive benefits starting from day one, including health insurance, a patient-centric work environment, and the chance for continuous career growth within a diverse and inclusive culture. Working with us means contributing to a mission-driven organization that honors the dignity of every person and values the unique perspectives each colleague brings, while actively fostering an environment of equity and inclusion. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to providing fair and just employment practices without discrimination of any kind, thus ensuring all qualified applicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
