The Medical Receptionist is responsible for maintaining accuracy in patient registration, managing co-pay collections, scheduling appointments, and facilitating prior authorizations which are fundamental to smooth clinical operations. The role requires the ability to uphold exceptional organizational standards, as well as the willingness to learn and expertly utilize various software applications pertinent to billing and physician schedules.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred
- Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred

Job Duties
- Be comfortable with learning new software and ensuring data entry into physician billing software
- Provides positive patient experience from screening incoming patient calls to end of visit
- Maintain schedules and appointments for physicians
- Conduct accurate patient registration
- Collect co-payments efficiently
- Manage prior authorizations within the practice
- Assist internal and external customers with clerical tasks
