The role of the Medical Receptionist at ENTA's Paramus office is crucial to delivering a positive patient experience and supporting office operations efficiently. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $21 and involves direct interaction with patients, acting as the welcoming face of the practice. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, assisting incoming patients with their inquiries and needs, verifying insurance coverage to streamline patient visits, and accurately entering patient demographic information into electronic systems. Additionally, this role includes pulling and filing medical charts and providing support to both the office manager and physicians as necessary.
A successful candidate for this position must thrive in a fast-paced environment, work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate a basic understanding of medical insurance and administrative processes. Experience with Epic electronic health record software is considered a valuable asset. Bilingual Spanish language skills are also a significant plus, enhancing communication with the diverse patient population served by ENTA. The required work schedule includes Monday through Friday with specified daytime hours and occasional Saturday shifts (1-2 per month), subject to change based on physician schedules.
