Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service to physicians, patients, and internal and external customers
  • ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff, and patients in a timely, confidential manner
  • strong analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • demonstrated flexibility and dedication to a team environment
  • effective communication skills
  • high school education or equivalent preferred
  • one year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant or nursing assistant program or equivalent experience preferred
  • nursing assistant or medical assistant experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, preferred
  • fluency in Spanish preferred depending on position

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and visitors in person and via telephone
  • answer incoming calls professionally
  • check in and out patients according to established protocols
  • schedule patient appointments efficiently
  • register patients accurately
  • maintain confidential patient information
  • support clinic staff and physicians in daily administrative tasks
