minimum of a high school diploma or GED
at least one year of relevant experience and/or training in a medical office
a welcoming, friendly personality with customer service orientation
ability to utilize critical thinking while multi-tasking and collaborating with patients, providers, staff, and referring offices

processing referrals and scheduling with appropriate indications and protocols
provide explanation and collect payments
professional verbal and written communication with patients, staff and referring offices
manage patient check-in and check-out processes
maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules
