Job Description
Silver Creek Physical Therapy is a renowned outpatient orthopedic provider and a proud member of the Therapy Partners Group. Serving the San Jose area and surrounding communities for over 20 years, Silver Creek Physical Therapy has established itself as a leader in delivering high-quality, individualized patient care. The organization is known for its team of highly skilled physical therapists who are dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and recovery goals through personalized treatment plans and compassionate service. The facility fosters a professional yet warm environment where patient-centered care is paramount, reflecting its long-standing commitment to improving the lives of those they serve.
Currently, Silver Creek Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for its Los Gatos location. This role is essential as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and it requires a friendly, professional demeanor to contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of the clinic. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, and requires a commitment of 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday. The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, handling patient scheduling, phone communications, and maintaining patient records with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
The Medical Receptionist will greet patients warmly, managing intake procedures and serving as a vital link between patients, clinical staff, and corporate employees. Communication skills are critical in this position, as the receptionist not only answers phones and schedules appointments but also addresses patient concerns and escalates issues when necessary. Maintaining an answer call rate above 85%, responding to voicemails same day, and adhering to HIPAA policies are integral responsibilities. Candidates who excel in this position will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and an empathetic approach to patient service. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Raintree Practice Management System are advantageous.
This role demands a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, as the receptionist handles sensitive patient information and assists with insurance and administrative procedures related to patient scheduling and care plans. Physical requirements include prolonged sitting and some physical activity such as bending and reaching, typical for a front office medical setting. The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive demeanor and collaborative spirit with colleagues and patients alike is essential for success in this role. If you have a background in medical front office operations, a strong customer service orientation, and a desire to be part of a respected healthcare provider, this opportunity at Silver Creek Physical Therapy is an excellent fit.
