As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's front desk by handling patient interaction, scheduling, and administrative duties with the utmost professionalism and care. The position involves managing electronic medical records (EMR), processing patient demographic data, assessing insurance benefits, and collecting payments. The Receptionist will also be responsible for maintaining the reception area, handling incoming calls compassionately, and managing visitor documentation and clinic safety protocols. This role requires someone with excellent organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and discretion as you will work with confidential information. The work schedule includes clinic hours from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, and 1 PM to 5 PM on Sundays. Full-time positions require a minimum of 30 hours per week with some evenings and weekends, and part-time opportunities are available up to 30 hours per week. The work environment is dynamic, involving patient and staff interactions in a busy medical setting with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to infectious materials. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Competency in basic computer skills and data entry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Capable of managing patient interactions professionally and compassionately
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Care for patients' demographic data via EMR
- Assess patient health insurance benefits and collect payments
- Schedule patient appointments
- Answer and direct calls with compassion and efficiency
- Maintain the lobby and patient waiting areas, cleaning spills if needed
- Ensure visitors are properly documented and monitored
- Manage personal cash drawer for patient payments with trustworthy behaviors
