The Center is now expanding its services to include Physical Therapy in Lincoln, NE, thereby enhancing its ability to offer comprehensive outpatient therapy solutions in a welcoming and professional environment. The new Physical Therapy Services aim to support patients through expert rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function after injury or surgery.
The Physical Therapy unit is seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join its outpatient therapy clinic. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a positive first impression for patients and visitors. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the front-line contact for all patients, greeting them warmly either in person or via phone, addressing inquiries, and providing support throughout their visit. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, attention to detail, and administrative proficiency. Scheduled to start in June 2026, the role offers full-time employment with an excellent pay scale and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement plans.
Key responsibilities include managing patient scheduling to maximize provider efficiency and treatment room use, maintaining patient records with confidentiality, and assisting with financial information related to patient accounts. The receptionist will also be responsible for ensuring the reception area is comfortable and welcoming, preparing for patient needs by anticipating anxiety and questions, and contributing as a cooperative team player to the overall success of the therapy clinic.
The ideal candidate will bring 1-2 years of medical office experience, preferably within a medical or therapeutic setting. Experience with patient scheduling and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail is mandatory. This role demands excellent telephone and customer service communication skills, along with self-motivation and reliability.
