The Medical Receptionist role at MultiCare Mary Bridge is a vital frontline position acting as the first in-person point of contact for patients and families visiting the medical practice. This intermediate-level role requires excellent customer service skills as the receptionist will be responsible for a wide array of front office duties. These duties include greeting patients warmly, answering and directing phone calls promptly, assisting patients and their families through various administrative processes, scheduling appointments, managing patient registration, processing charge entries, posting payments, balancing batches and cash reconciliations, and efficiently operating various types of basic office equipment. The role demands discretion, sound judgment, a professional and pleasant demeanor, and clear, articulate communication skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors.

  • Post high school office procedures preferred
  • minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience or six months in a medical setting
  • customer service experience
  • relevant degree or certificate may substitute experience
