The role of Medical Receptionist at Crossroads Treatment Centers is pivotal in maintaining smooth clinic operations and delivering excellent customer service to patients. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor to provide a "white glove" experience for every patient visiting the clinic. Medical Receptionists are responsible for checking in patients, processing payments, and assisting in various daily tasks that keep the clinic running efficiently. They guide new patients through the intake process, ensuring that they understand what to expect and feel welcomed. Additionally, Medical Receptionists may collect urine and saliva samples for drug screening when necessary, maintain financial records and reports, and coordinate with medical and clinical staff to schedule patient intakes. The role also involves clerical and logistical support duties as well as oversight of patient accounts and financial responsibilities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, based at the Hixson, Tennessee location.

Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or office administration preferred
  • Lived addiction experience is a plus
