Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to patient needs
- Strong accountability and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel within 30 minutes of home and float to different locations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
- Strong sense of accountability and dedication to improving patient lives
- Exceptional focus on teamwork and ongoing education
- Prior receptionist or clerical experience in a medical office preferred
- Experience with Epic or other EMR systems preferred
- CPR certification preferred
Job Duties
- Receives and directs all communication courteously and consistently
- Greets patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully
- Assists patients with the sign in process and responds promptly to their needs
- Supports financial responsibilities including billing procedures and bank deposits
- Monitors office supply inventory and initiates ordering of needed supplies
- Manages patient check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently
- Promotes patient satisfaction by providing excellent service and communicating potential issues
- Maintains efficient and accurate filing and record maintenance systems
- Adapts work schedule to meet the needs of the practice and cross covers as necessary
- Serves as a pre-loader for the electronic medical records system
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
