We are a prominent healthcare organization operating an Adult Medicine Walk-In Clinic located at 325 Bicentennial Hwy. As part of Trinity Health Of New England, our organization provides comprehensive medical services including primary care, specialty care, surgery, urgent care, rehabilitation, and diagnostic services such as imaging and lab work. The Medical Receptionist is an essential member of our front office team within a busy Orthopedics practice. This full-time position involves managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, copay collection, and coordinating referrals. The receptionist will also support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, handling incoming calls, and managing related documentation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing superior customer service. The position operates during day shifts with hours that may vary, and offers a pay range of $17.50 to $23.80 per hour based on experience, skills, and education. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred
- Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred
- Excellent keyboard skills
- Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products
- Accuracy and dependability required

Job Duties
- Greet and communicate with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department
- Answer telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting
- Process calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member or provider in a timely manner
- Schedule patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures accurately
- Verify patient insurance information and collect copayments
- Coordinate patient referrals and prepare charts for clinical staff
