The organization operates Monday through Friday during daytime hours, offering patients accessibility and continuity in their cancer care journey. The Medical Receptionist - Patient Navigator role at HOACNY is a dynamic and critical position designed for individuals who thrive in team-oriented settings and are motivated to make a difference in healthcare. This full-time role involves a combination of administrative duties and patient-facing navigation tasks. The patient navigator supports assigned physicians by managing patient flow, coordinating appointments, and facilitating effective communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers. Depending on the physician's schedule and travel between offices, the patient navigator may also travel to different clinic locations, ensuring seamless care coordination. In cases of assigned float positions, the navigator covers for colleagues across various locations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Working at HOACNY means joining a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. The Medical Receptionist - Patient Navigator plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive timely and organized service from their first point of contact with the healthcare provider. The role demands excellent organizational skills, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members. HOACNY offers a competitive salary that reflects experience and performance, supplemented by stipends and bonuses that reward commitment and quality service.

In addition to financial compensation, HOACNY extends a generous benefits package to its employees. This includes medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverages, along with a robust retirement plan featuring 401k and pension options. Employees benefit from tuition reimbursement programs, advanced paid time off (PTO), holidays, floating holidays for additional time-off flexibility, and convenient free parking — all designed to promote work-life balance and personal growth. HOACNY is also committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity, ensuring a welcoming workplace for candidates from all backgrounds.
