Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • associate degree preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced medical office
  • proficiency with electronic medical records systems
  • strong communication skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to organize and multitask efficiently
  • compassionate attitude towards patient care
  • customer service experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • associate degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced medical office required
  • customer service and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • proficient with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and phone systems
  • strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • compassionate mindset and a desire to support patients in recovery

Job Duties

  • Greet patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism
  • confirm and update insurance and demographic details at each visit
  • schedule and coordinate provider appointments, adjusting as needed
  • assist patients who missed appointments to encourage treatment continuity
  • handle prior authorizations and explain patient financial responsibilities
  • distribute, verify, and scan forms, including handbooks and intake documents
  • collect co-pays and process payments
  • set up payment plans when needed
  • maintain a clean, organized front office and uphold patient confidentiality
  • provide courteous, effective communication by phone and in person
  • participate in team huddles and contribute to a supportive work environment
