Job Requirements

  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • understanding of HIPPA regulations and compliance
  • excellent customer service skills with diverse populations
  • strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • prefer 2+ years experience in a medical environment
  • prefer previous experience with electronic medical record systems

Job Duties

  • interact with patients in the check in/out process
  • schedule patients for various appointment types
  • update patient information/paperwork and take payments
  • understand the various types of hearing aid equipment and accessories
  • receive/ship various hearing aid equipment and accessories while maintaining accurate inventory
  • communicate with patients using the phone system
  • open/close the front desk area and keep the area clean and organized
  • perform general duties including reporting, equipment purchase agreements, requesting/ordering supplies, depositing money and accepting donations
