Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- ability to use Electronic Health Record systems
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- attention to detail
- commitment to providing exceptional patient service
- medical office experience preferred
Job Qualifications

- new graduates from certified medical assistant or receptionist programs welcome
Job Duties
- Greeting every patient with a smile
- completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency
- utilizing the Electronic Health Record system to complete the registration process and facilitate patients' visits
- completing the check out process by assisting with scheduling future appointments and providing referral information
- verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing
- collecting co-pays and deductibles as directed by billing policies
- answering appointment calls and managing email appointment requests
- scheduling appointments at office sites or diagnostic departments
- maintaining exceptional service and professional, warm patient encounters
