The role available is that of a full-time Receptionist based at the OBGYN Chelmsford location. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. As an integral part of the administrative team, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and reception area by providing exceptional administrative and customer service support.

In this role, the Receptionist will perform vital clerical and secretarial duties which include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting patients, handling correspondence, managing appointment schedules, maintaining records, and general office tasks. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, directing them promptly and professionally to the appropriate personnel or departments, thus creating a welcoming and professional environment.

The role requires handling multiple responsibilities such as managing phone systems, data entry, providing information relevant to clinic operations, assisting patients requiring physical help such as those needing wheelchairs, and facilitating communication with hospital staff and external parties. The incumbent will also assist in maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations, hence supporting the agency's commitment to patient privacy and safety.

This position functions under moderate supervision, demanding an individual who is capable of managing routine procedures independently while showcasing problem-solving skills when encountering non-standard situations. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of one year of related office or clerical experience, preferably in a medical office setting, or similar environments, complemented by strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
