Job Description
We are a distinguished healthcare group comprised of primary care providers, specialists, and surgeons dedicated to serving patients across Connecticut and western Massachusetts. As an integral part of Trinity Health Of New England, we offer a comprehensive range of medical services including primary care, specialty care, surgery, urgent care, rehabilitation, and advanced imaging and laboratory services to thousands of patients annually. Our organization is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, person-centered care through a diverse and inclusive culture. We prioritize honoring the dignity of every individual while embracing the varied perspectives, experiences, and talents of our colleagues. This commitment fosters a collaborative environment where our team members grow stronger together to achieve a common goal of improving patient outcomes and experiences.
We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Adult Medicine and Endocrinology Practices on a full-time basis during the day shift. This role is vital in maintaining an efficient, organized, and patient-focused environment within our medical offices. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring accurate registration, co-pay collection, and scheduling of patients, assisting both internal teams and external customers with various clerical duties throughout the office. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and enjoy making a meaningful difference in patients' healthcare journeys, this position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will become a key part of a supportive team that values a positive patient experience from the moment patients first connect with our practice to the conclusion of their visit. They will be comfortable adapting to new software systems, specifically those related to physician billing, and will consistently maintain physician schedules and appointments with accuracy and care. Working in this role allows for growth in medical knowledge, administrative expertise, and customer service, contributing to career advancement within our expansive health system.
We offer a competitive pay range of $17.50 to $23.80 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and education. Additionally, you will benefit from our strong emphasis on professional development and a culture that fosters mutual respect and inclusion. This position may require flexibility, including potential weekend hours based on location, and comes with comprehensive benefits effective from day one. Join us and be a part of a respected healthcare group that is committed to not only patient care but also the well-being and advancement of its staff.
