We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our Salem clinic team. This role is initially offered as a part-time position, with a schedule of 2-3 days per week, and includes the opportunity to transition to full-time employment around October as the clinic continues to expand. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming patients, managing communications, and supporting the smooth operation of the medical office. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 per hour and includes a 90-day performance review where a wage increase may be considered based on individual performance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Duties
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate documentation
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to keep patient flow running efficiently
- Complete general administrative and front office duties as needed
