Athena Care is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for its Nashville clinic. This role is vital for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients as they enter the facility. The Medical Receptionist acts as the initial point of contact and embodies the professionalism and compassionate front-line attitude essential to the clinic’s mission. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, providing stability and consistency for the successful candidate. In this role, the Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients warmly, assisting with the check-in and check-out process, and managing communication channels such as answering phone calls and handling inquiries efficiently and courteously. Maintaining compliance with relevant health regulations and confidentiality requirements like HIPAA is critical to this position. The receptionist will also support the operational side of the clinic by ensuring the front office is well-organized and presentable, thereby contributing to a professional environment that supports patients’ comfort and confidence. Job Duties
- Greets incoming patients and assists with check in process
- Answers calls or other contact forms from patients
- Provides superior customer service to all individuals and agencies
- Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures including patient confidentiality and regulatory requirements
- Identifies and resolves client needs and issues
- Follows contact center protocol for handling inquiries
- Participates in outreach activities as needed
- Completes administrative and operational tasks to maintain a clean and organized office
- Communicates effectively with supervisors and peers about tasks
