Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to therapists by managing paperwork, maintaining files, and tracking required documentation
  • Complete provider credentialing and insurance enrollment paperwork for new therapists and maintain submission records
  • Compile billing information for insurance plans, grant programs, external billing partners, and direct pay sources
  • Prepare and send prior authorization requests to insurance carriers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Organize and submit client and account details to billing specialists and contracted reimbursement entities
  • Coordinate with billing contacts to help monitor accounts receivable and resolve outstanding claim issues
  • Maintain ongoing communication with insurance representatives and other reimbursement partners regarding coverage, claims, and account status
  • Verify client insurance eligibility, track scheduled sessions, and monitor required treatment plan updates
  • Answer phone and communicate with clients providing accurate information about services
