Job Description

DOCS Dermatology Group is one of the largest and most respected dermatology practices in the United States. With a presence spanning over 100 locations across 10 states and encompassing more than 200 specialized providers under 20 distinct practice brands, DOCS Dermatology Group is committed to advancing skin health and patient wellbeing. For over four decades, the company has built a reputation founded on delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services within a compassionate, patient-focused environment. Their mission centers on placing patients first, ensuring convenience, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in every interaction.

The position of Receptionist at DOCS Dermatology Group is a vital role that serves as a front-line connection for patients visiting the practice. The Medical Receptionist acts as a key liaison between patients and healthcare providers, managing communications, coordinating appointments, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinical operations. This role involves collecting important patient information, assisting with scheduling both at the front desk and via telephone, managing insurance documentation, and facilitating payments including copays and outstanding balances. Receptionists must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a dedication to patient service, making every patient feel supported and well-informed throughout their visits.

Receptionists work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and smooth administrative workflow. Their responsibilities also include maintaining safety and security standards within the office environment, handling data entry tasks in electronic health record (EHR) systems, and assisting management and physicians as needed. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting that values professional development, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach. The company provides a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k matching program, company-paid life insurance, an employee assistance program, and paid time off. Individuals passionate about healthcare administration and committed to upholding high standards in customer service will find this role both rewarding and impactful.
