The Receptionist role at CenterWell Senior Primary Care is fundamental to maintaining the welcoming and efficient front-line experience for patients and visitors. Reporting to the Clinic Administrator, Kristy Hill, this onsite position requires a self-motivated, empathetic, and organized individual who excels in a dynamic healthcare setting. The receptionist serves as the friendly face of the clinic, ensuring that every patient feels valued and cared for from the moment they step through the door. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors warmly both in-person and over the phone, thereby establishing a professional and compassionate atmosphere.

This role also involves administrative and operational duties, such as managing patient appointment scheduling, confirming appointments, and collaborating closely with medical staff to guarantee an efficient patient flow. Additionally, the receptionist is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential patient records through EMR and CRM systems, updating patient accounts, and handling copayment collections when necessary. Managing incoming calls with a positive tone and providing pertinent information or empathetic responses aligns with the supportive nature of the position.

The receptionist will also ensure the reception area is well-organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies, supporting the overall clinic environment. Coordination of supply orders, inventory management, and courier services are integral parts of the daily workflow. This role is particularly vital as it relates to the clinic’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, reflecting the company’s dedication to patient safety and public health.

Candidates for this position should bring at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or related sectors such as retail, hospitality, or call centers. Mastery of MS Office tools and a capacity for workflow optimization are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and maintain a positive demeanor during patient interactions. Experience with EMR systems is a plus but not mandatory.
