Job Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age required
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers
- Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner
- Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- One year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant, or nursing assistant program preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or medical scheduling preferred
- Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant credentials preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred
- Fluency in Spanish preferred depending on position availability
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in person and via telephone
- Answer incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Check-in and check-out patients according to established protocols
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic calendar
- Register patients, including verifying insurance and collecting necessary information
- Communicate effectively with physicians, clinic staff, and patients
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling patient information
