Job Description

Women's Care is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering specialized medical services for women. Founded in 1988, Women's Care stands as Lane County's oldest independent physician group devoted exclusively to women’s health. With six strategically located clinics throughout Lane County, the organization is committed to maintaining the highest standards of compassionate, respectful, and professional care. Women's Care serves a diverse patient population, addressing health concerns from adolescence through menopause. This steadfast commitment to quality care and advocacy has positioned Women's Care as one of the region's most trusted names in women's health services.

Our RiverBend Clinic in Springfield, OR, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in creating an exceptional patient experience as it represents the welcoming heart of our clinic. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, responsible not only for administrative tasks but also for setting a positive tone that reflects the mission and values of Women's Care. This on-site position entails a 40-hour work week, and the pay range is competitively set between $18.86 and $22.72 per hour. Additionally, we proudly offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of our staff.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, often dynamic clinical environment where multitasking and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires a professional demeanor, the ability to manage patient interactions with empathy and efficiency, and strong organizational capabilities. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, verifying and updating patient information, managing communications through multiple channels, scheduling appointments, handling co-pays and cash transactions, verifying insurance details, and maintaining an inviting and orderly front desk and waiting area. The Medical Receptionist will also play an important role in addressing patient concerns, escalating issues when necessary, and enrolling patients in the clinic’s patient portal.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and the healthcare team, values teamwork and effective communication, and is committed to excellence in customer service. At Women's Care, every team member contributes meaningfully to the overall patient experience, making this position both rewarding and impactful. The role demands flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive mindset to accommodate shifting priorities and the diverse needs of a busy clinical setting. Joining Women's Care means being part of a supportive and inclusive work environment dedicated to advancing women's health in Lane County and beyond.
