Job Description

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is a dedicated healthcare provider specializing in proactive and preventive care designed specifically for senior patients. The organization is part of Humana Inc., a well-established company recognized as a leader in the healthcare services sector. CenterWell focuses on delivering personalized, compassionate care that goes beyond addressing physical health, also considering emotional and social factors to maximize patient well-being. Their integrated care teams consist of physicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals that collaborate to spend significantly more time with each patient than traditional care models, ensuring thorough and attentive service.

As a medical receptionist at CenterWell Senior Primary Care located in Soldier City, you will play a vital role as the first point of contact between patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a multi-line phone system efficiently, handle inquiries professionally, and assist with administrative office tasks. This full-time role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and includes local travel opportunities which are reimbursed. The role is patient-facing and necessitates participation in Humana's Tuberculosis screening program.

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, determining the purpose of their visit, issuing visitor passes, and alerting the appropriate team members of their arrival. In addition, you will manage routine inquiries both from internal and external sources, maintain visitor logs, and handle basic administrative duties like booking meeting rooms, managing mail, and courier services.

CenterWell seeks candidates who are team players, possess a willingness to learn and adapt, and have strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook. Preferred candidates bring experience with electronic medical records, familiarity with the HEDIS program, bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), and have prior experience in a geriatric setting. This role offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,800 per year, with the potential to earn performance-based bonuses.

Working at CenterWell means joining a community that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Humana has robust policies to ensure all employees and applicants receive fair treatment regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or veteran status. The company provides comprehensive benefits aimed at supporting personal wellness and financial security, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and numerous opportunities for career development and education assistance.
