Job Description
Future Medical Imaging Group (FMIG) is a well-established medical imaging provider located in St Albans, dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the community. As a part of the Integral Diagnostics (IDX) network, which encompasses over 200 clinics across Australia and New Zealand, including brands such as Capital Radiology, Lake Imaging, and Radiology Tasmania, FMIG is committed to excellence, compassion, and integrity in healthcare. Our large network of more than 3,000 employees ensures comprehensive support and the use of the latest technology to provide accessible and affordable imaging solutions. At FMIG, the team upholds a patient-first approach, ensuring every individual receives attentive, respectful service in a professional and caring environment.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a customer service superstar to join our supportive and dynamic team as a Medical Receptionist at our fast-paced St Albans clinic. This full-time position plays a critical role as the frontline ambassador for our clinic, responsible for managing all patient interactions with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. The successful candidate will handle phone inquiries, patient scheduling, billing, and Medicare rebates, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming reception and waiting area. The role requires a flexible individual willing to support not only the St Albans location but also nearby west clinics when needed.
As a Medical Receptionist with FMIG, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and referrers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Your day-to-day tasks will include scheduling appointments, entering and updating patient registration details, issuing invoices and receipts, and processing Medicare rebates accurately. This position demands excellent communication skills, strong customer service focus, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and a passion for helping others. While experience in a radiology or medical imaging environment and exposure to Medicare services is highly regarded, this role also offers comprehensive training, making it a fantastic opportunity for those eager to learn and grow. Vietnamese language skills are preferred, reflecting our commitment to serving diverse community members effectively.
In return, FMIG offers an inclusive team culture where staff support and success are celebrated. We provide full training with no prior medical administration experience required, ensuring you have the tools to succeed. Career development opportunities are available within our growing network, alongside various staff recognition programs. Employees also benefit from corporate perks and discounts, health and wellness benefits, nationwide fitness passport access to over 1,000 gyms, discounted private health insurance, novated leasing options, salary sacrifice opportunities, and paid parental leave to support work-life balance.
By joining FMIG, you become part of a dedicated team striving to be the diagnostic imaging specialists of choice, delivering exceptional care through cutting-edge technology and compassionate service. If you are passionate about patient care and making a positive impact in the medical community, we encourage you to apply and grow your career with us.
