Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1-year medical office reception experience
  • ability to manage patient flow effectively and efficiently
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • ability to maintain calm demeanor while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
  • handling sensitive information with empathy and discretion
  • greet incoming patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • check patients in and ensure accurate patient information in the database
  • collect copays as needed
  • orient patients to clinic systems and flow
  • effectively communicate and collaborate with team members to create a smooth workflow
  • offer information and instruction as needed
  • page nurses when required
  • assist with bill payment
  • occasionally fill reception needs at other clinic locations
  • complete other duties as assigned
