APDerm’s commitment to excellent patient care is matched by its dedication to its workforce, making it a standout employer in the healthcare sector in the New England area.
This full-time Patient Registration and Front Desk Specialist role is primarily responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient patient intake processes as well as maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area. The position entails registering patients, verifying insurance information, and managing demographic data with accuracy and attention to detail. A crucial part of the role involves facilitating customer service by answering phones promptly and courteously, explaining fees and patient financial responsibilities transparently, and collecting payments for services rendered. Additionally, this role contributes to overall patient satisfaction by assisting with general office duties and ensuring the reception and waiting areas meet high standards of cleanliness and organization.
The salary for this position ranges from $20.31 to $30.47 per hour, reflecting factors such as experience, location, skills, training, and education. APDerm offers performance-based incentive compensation and long-term incentives where applicable. Employees benefit from an extensive package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, pet, and identity insurance options, generous paid time off and holidays, a 401k match program, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive discounts on cosmetic services, products, and fitness equipment. The company also provides unique perks such as free Botox, quarterly bonuses, access to discounted home, auto, and renters’ insurance, and opportunities for professional development through modeling and training programs.
APDerm fosters an equal opportunity and affirmative action work environment. They are dedicated to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all qualified applicants receive fair consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, military or veteran status, disability, genetics, or any other protected category under federal law. The organization also accommodates disabilities throughout the employment process to support all candidates and team members effectively. Joining APDerm means becoming part of a leading dermatology network that values patient care, employee wellness, and professional development in a collaborative and forward-thinking atmosphere.
