Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including data entry
  • Ability to handle patient information with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to explain financial information clearly

Job Duties

  • Register all patients and verify insurance information and demographic data
  • Maintain an organized and clean waiting room free of expired magazines and litter
  • Answer phones promptly before the third ring in a friendly and professional manner
  • Explain all fees and patient financial responsibilities clearly and collect fees for services
  • Ensure overall patient satisfaction through excellent customer service
  • Assist in general office duties as required
  • Support administrative tasks to contribute to smooth office operations
