- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced medical office
- customer service and/or healthcare experience preferred
- proficiency with electronic medical records
- proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Duties
- Greet patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism
- confirm and update insurance and demographic details at each visit
- schedule and coordinate provider appointments, adjusting as needed
- assist patients who missed appointments to encourage treatment continuity
- handle prior authorizations and explain patient financial responsibilities
- distribute, verify, and scan forms, including handbooks and intake documents
- collect co-pays and process payments
- set up payment plans when needed
- maintain a clean, organized front office and uphold patient confidentiality
- provide courteous, effective communication by phone and in person
- participate in team huddles and contribute to a supportive work environment
