Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18-month commitment
  • flexible schedule including early mornings and potential weekend shifts
  • Spanish fluency
  • excellent phone and customer service skills
  • tech-savviness especially in EMR and Google Workspace
  • strong organizational and written communication skills
  • ability to travel to multiple office locations within the Rio Grande Valley
  • willingness to participate in video pre-interview assessments
  • ability to work full-time 32-40 hours per week
  • charismatic and customer-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • proficiency in Google Workspace
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent phone communication skills
  • Spanish fluency
  • exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment
  • commitment to continuous personal and professional improvement

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • manage patient registration process
  • handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
  • perform insurance verifications
  • answer inbound calls and make outbound calls
  • process payments and conduct financial counseling
