Job Description

PAD Specialists is a rapidly expanding network of outpatient medical offices committed to diagnosing, treating, and preventing Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) through early intervention. With a dedicated focus on enhancing patients' quality of life, PAD Specialists strives to provide life-changing care that transforms patient outcomes. The organization prioritizes exceptional patient service and is passionate about building a team of dedicated, long-term members who are eager to learn and grow professionally within a supportive environment. Through advanced medical practices and empathetic care, PAD Specialists has established itself as a trusted provider in the Rio Grande Valley, with multiple office locations catering to the needs of the community.

The role of Medical Receptionist, internally titled Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), is a pivotal position within the PAD Specialists network. This full-time role offers an engaging and rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for patient care, customer service, and administrative excellence. The Patient Care Coordinator acts as the initial point of contact for patients, responsible for coordinating and managing vital front desk functions while ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills, superior customer service abilities, and advanced technological proficiency, particularly in handling Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Google Workspace.

In this role, the Patient Care Coordinator is entrusted with a variety of critical responsibilities including greeting patients warmly, managing patient registration processes, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying patient information and insurance details, handling inbound and outbound communications, and processing payments alongside providing financial counseling. This multifaceted role requires a detail-oriented and compassionate professional who can effectively balance administrative duties with genuine patient care. The position requires travel within the Rio Grande Valley area to multiple office locations including Edinburg, Brownsville, Harlingen, and Rio Grande City to meet full-time work hours. Additionally, occasional travel for training sessions is also expected.

PAD Specialists offers a structured and positive work environment with a focus on professional development and work-life balance. The schedule consists of 32 to 40 hours per week including Monday through Friday workdays, with weekend shifts as needed. Shift start times vary from early morning at 5:15 am to 7:30 am, providing some flexibility. The compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, reflecting competitive pay for outpatient medical office support roles.

Employee benefits include a comprehensive package designed to support health, financial security, and personal growth. These benefits include paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement plans with matching contributions, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, mileage reimbursement, scrub uniform allowances, BLS/ACLS certification reimbursements, and fully paid training. PAD Specialists fosters a collaborative and zero-drama team culture focusing on structured workflows that empower employees to succeed and deliver exceptional patient care.
