The Dermatology Clinic, PLLC is a reputable and comprehensive dermatology practice serving the Gulf Coast, managed by a team of board-certified Dermatologists including Dr. Wingfield and Dr. Ortego. As the only full-service dermatology clinic in the region, the practice offers a broad range of treatments addressing hair, skin, and nail disorders. Specialized services include advanced skin resurfacing techniques for scars and wrinkles, as well as botulinum toxin treatments and various wrinkle fillers. The clinic is known for its commitment to exceptional patient care and maintaining a congenial, professional environment which supports both patients and staff. Recently recognized as one of the Best Places to Work on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the clinic demonstrates a strong culture focused on teamwork, patient satisfaction, and professional growth.

This position is a full-time Medical Receptionist role located primarily at the Gulfport clinic, with occasional travel required to other clinic locations situated in Pass Christian, Wiggins, Gautier, and Pascagoula, Mississippi. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the patient experience and ensuring smooth front-office operations. Core responsibilities include answering telephone calls, managing appointment scheduling, coordinating patient check-ins and check-outs, and handling administrative clerical tasks within the medical office setting. The role demands exceptional communication skills, precise attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.

The Medical Receptionist acts as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, setting a friendly and professional tone from the moment patients enter the clinic or connect via phone. This position requires an individual who is passionate about providing top-tier customer service, works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and who can efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining composure and organization. The receptionist must be proficient in handling various communication channels including phone calls, voicemails, and patient reminder systems to ensure timely and effective patient coordination. Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and a strong sense of patient confidentiality are essential attributes.

Employees benefit from a supportive work atmosphere and comprehensive benefits package, including holiday pay, paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, employee discounts, and mileage reimbursement. The clinic emphasizes work-life balance and values its staff as integral to the overall success and delivery of quality dermatologic care. Compensation for this role ranges from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, reflecting the importance placed on professionalism and patient-centered service in all interactions. Candidates who thrive in dynamic and people-focused environments will find this an ideal opportunity to advance their career in a respected dermatology practice committed to innovation and patient wellness.
