The Receptionist role at Conviva Senior Primary Care is a vital front-line position responsible for managing incoming and outgoing communications and hosting visitors with professionalism and care. As a Receptionist, you will operate a multi-line phone system, handle appointment scheduling, verify insurances, and collect patient charges, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. The role requires excellent customer service, meticulous record-keeping, and coordination with staff and visitors, contributing to a welcoming and organized environment. This position is full-time with a scheduled 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, although schedules may vary according to center needs. Importantly, this is a patient-facing role within Conviva’s Tuberculosis screening program, requiring selected candidates to undergo TB screening. The salary range for this full-time position is estimated between $38,000 and $45,800 annually, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive plan. Job Duties
- Operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs
- Maintains the reception area
- Appointment scheduling
- Verification of insurances
- Collecting patient charges
- Takes and distributes accurate messages
- Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit
- Issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee
- Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address
