The administrator will serve as the operational lead responsible for managing the comprehensive execution of the program, developing strategic implementation plans including detailed timelines and performance indicators. This role requires oversight of vendor and sub-recipient contracts, ensuring compliance with budgets and deliverables, while meeting grant expectations meticulously. The Medical Operations Program Administrator will monitor program budgets and recommend corrective actions for fiscal stewardship. They will also identify risks during implementation and produce strategies to mitigate them effectively.

In addition to these duties, this position demands the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams crossing sectors such as healthcare, emergency medical services (EMS), trauma systems, emergency management, public safety, and government agencies. The administrator will convene diverse public and private partners to build consensus and align efforts toward achieving statewide objectives. Deliverables will include preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, and recommendations that inform the Division’s senior leadership and representing the client in both statewide and national meetings focused on healthcare coordination, trauma systems, emergency preparedness, and medical operations. Moderate in-state travel is expected as part of this role.

Candidates suited for this role will possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field combined with five or more years of progressively responsible experience managing complex healthcare or emergency-related programs. Strong leadership and communication skills, experience with contract and grant compliance, and the capacity to influence and negotiate without formal authority are essential. The role offers an hourly pay rate of approximately $26, complemented by benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement options, paid sick leave, and other paid time off as mandated by law. CAI prides itself on its inclusive workplace culture and is committed to equal employment opportunities, fostering a discrimination-free environment for all employees and applicants.
