The Family Care Clinic, located at 751 Hebron Parkway, Lewisville, TX, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Office Receptionist to join their dedicated team. This role offers a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a balanced work-life integration. - High school diploma or equivalent
- one year medical experience in a clinic preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- six months business office customer service experience preferred
- must be outgoing with friendly attitude
- strong attention to detail required

Job Duties
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist process
- under direct supervision, performs patient check-in at time of visit and completes paperwork to ensure admitting process is efficient and compliant with clinic and regulatory policies
- answers phone calls and directs them appropriately
- schedules appointments according to office guidelines
- obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collects copays and deductible amounts
- copies and scans patient access related hard copy materials into electronic medical record
- prepares charts for patient appointments ensuring all necessary information is complete
- conducts patient check-out including pricing services, collecting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments
- performs record filing and assists with filing registration documentation in electronic medical records
- confirms next day appointments and alerts patients regarding required documentation and payment information
- follows up with patients regarding missed appointment policy and sends appropriate communications
- performs other duties as assigned
