Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • current license or temporary license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Specialist
  • ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • current license or temporary license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Specialist
  • ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist

  • successful completion of ASCP Certification Maintenance Program if certified on or after January 1, 2004
  • proficient computer skills

Job Duties

  • Receives and prepares specimens according to standard protocols and procedures
  • performs laboratory tests and calculations to provide data for diagnosis and treatment
