Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year of experience in healthcare, clinical engineering, durable medical equipment or similar industries preferred
- intermediate understanding of medical equipment
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and emergency off-hours
- excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to work in high pressure situations
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull a cart up to 75 pounds
- ability to navigate hospital and find alternative routes
- ability to use staircases
- ability to work in small spaces to sanitize equipment
- valid driver’s license
- ability to respond to customer needs quickly and courteously while reacting professionally in high stress situations
- basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new computer applications
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Keep an inventory of complex and life-saving medical devices
- sterilize and bag medical equipment ensuring it is ready for use when needed by medical professionals
- verify the quantities of inventory levels of mobile medical equipment to be delivered
- deliver and sanitize equipment in various hospital locations including patient rooms
- navigate hospital and find alternative routes as needed
- respond to customer needs quickly and courteously while reacting professionally in high stress situations
- use computer applications to manage inventory and reporting
