Job Description

American Expediting is a leading provider of health sciences delivery services, specializing in expedited and reliable transportation solutions for medical facilities. With a strong commitment to excellence, American Expediting has established itself as a trusted partner in the healthcare logistics industry, ensuring that critical medical items and documents are delivered on time to support patient care and operational efficiency. The company operates with a focus on professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction, building lasting relationships with healthcare clients and independent contractors alike. American Expediting offers flexible contract opportunities for drivers who are motivated, responsible, and dedicated to making a difference in the medical community.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor Medical Courier Driver with American Expediting, you will play a crucial role in the timely delivery of life-saving medical supplies and documents. This position is ideally suited for reliable and safe drivers who own their own minivan and seek flexible work schedules. Independent contractors enjoy the benefits of no earnings cap with excellent pay rates, making it a rewarding opportunity. Your duties will include providing on-demand deliveries during weekdays from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. This role demands a high standard of quality and customer service, as couriers represent the face of American Expediting to medical clients and facility staff.

The contractor position requires the driver to maintain responsibility for vehicle insurance, licensing, and compliance with safety regulations. Drivers must also be willing to complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and obtain TSA certification along with other customer-specific medical certifications, which the company supports by providing the necessary certification upon contracting. Drivers will frequently operate with dock-high loading environments and may assist with asset recovery supporting on-demand services. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently, while maintaining strong communication with dispatch and client points of contact. In this capacity, you contribute directly to critical healthcare delivery logistics that help save lives every day.

American Expediting values its contractors and provides a supportive environment with access to a great customer base that ensures steady and meaningful work. With wages ranging from $500 to $1000 per week, this flexible contract driving role offers a stable income potential based on individual work volumes and commitment. While contractors are responsible for their own insurance and health coverage, American Expediting fosters a partnership approach, supplying ongoing support and training to elevate your performance and success in this vital role. Join American Expediting and experience the satisfaction of working in a dynamic, mission-driven field where your dedication truly makes an impact on healthcare and patient outcomes.
