Job Description

American Expediting is a leading provider of health sciences delivery services dedicated to ensuring timely and reliable deliveries. With a strong commitment to exceptional service and building lasting relationships with clients, American Expediting plays a critical role in the medical courier industry. The company specializes in expedited delivery services to medical facilities, helping to save lives by ensuring important medical items reach their destinations without delay. Operating as a trusted partner in the healthcare logistics community, American Expediting’s reputation is built on reliability, professionalism, and efficiency.

This opportunity is for a 1099 Independent Contractor Medical Courier Driver position, appealing to reliable and safe drivers who seek flexible working hours and a rewarding role in the healthcare delivery field. Contractors are responsible for providing their own vehicles, which must meet specific requirements including a lift gate and adequate insurance coverage. There is no cap on earnings due to appealing pay rates and a solid customer base. The working schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm with local deliveries extending up to 200 miles.

In this role, independent contractors will provide on-demand delivery services, primarily focused on medical and health science facility shipments. Couriers will be entrusted with delivering critical medical items, exercising the highest quality and professionalism standards to maintain patient safety and organizational reputation. Through your contributions, you will help facilitate the smooth operation of healthcare services across the delivery region. This role also emphasizes excellent customer care and the availability of certification opportunities like TSA and customer-specific medical certifications, which enhance professional credibility.

Working as an independent contractor enables drivers to maintain freedom and flexibility while benefiting from consistent service demand. Contractors must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to pass background and motor vehicle record checks. Proof of insurance with specific coverage limits and the possibility of Workers' Compensation or Occupational Accident insurance are required. While the company highly supports its couriers, the responsibility for vehicle maintenance and certification costs rests with the contractors.

This contracting position offers a unique chance for individuals who want a flexible schedule, competitive weekly earnings ranging from $200 to $350, and the ability to contribute significantly to healthcare logistics. If you have your own car, a safe driving record, and an eagerness to support the healthcare community, American Expediting invites you to join their team as a valued independent contractor medical courier driver.
