This role requires you to have your own box truck and maintain a flexible schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with the possibility of weekend work being a plus. The compensation offers excellent rates with no earnings cap, making it ideal for those seeking to maximize their income based on their effort and availability.
Being a Medical Courier Driver for American Expediting demands professionalism, reliability, and a strong focus on customer service. Your responsibilities will center on performing on-demand deliveries that require promptness and accuracy to medical facilities. The position emphasizes same-day delivery service where your role directly impacts the healthcare system by providing timely access to essential medical items. Safety and compliance with regulatory requirements are also crucial, which will include obtaining TSA certification as well as other customer-specific medical certifications that American Expediting provides upon contracting.
This role suits individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as contractors. You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record. The company requires a background check and motor vehicle record check, which must be paid for by the contractor. Additionally, proper insurance coverage is mandatory, including proof of liability coverage (100/300) that names American Expediting as an additional insured party while under dispatch. Workers’ compensation or occupational accident insurance meeting state requirements or $1 million coverage is also required.
By joining American Expediting as an independent contractor, you join a professional network that values safety, efficiency, and dependable delivery service.
