Our team is made up of passionate professionals who strive to deliver personalized treatment plans along with exceptional customer service to ensure that every patient feels valued and cared for throughout their experience with us.
We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This multifaceted role requires a candidate who is not only customer service oriented but who is also eager to expand their knowledge about our aesthetic services. The ideal candidate will provide vital support in both clinical and administrative functions, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling scheduling and insurance verification, and assisting healthcare providers with patient care tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive and fast-paced medical office environment.
The Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for answering telephone calls with professionalism, managing patient scheduling by coordinating appointments, rescheduling and cancellations in accordance with office protocols, and providing accurate information to callers. Additionally, the role involves registering patients, verifying insurance details, and maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with medical regulations. Candidates must be proficient in computer applications and ideally familiar with EPIC Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to streamline patient records management.
A key component of the role is triaging patients either in person or over the phone to determine the urgency of care required and assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling patient tests, procedures, referrals, and admissions as instructed by the medical provider. The successful candidate will assist in rooming patients and maintaining an organized supply inventory, contributing to seamless office operations. A willingness and ability to learn about the aesthetic services offered are essential for integrating fully into our team and providing informed support to patients exploring these options.
This position demands excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with an emphasis on delivering empathetic, courteous, and efficient service. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably some medical assistant schooling, who have at least two years of medical office experience, will find this role suits their career aspirations perfectly. We foster a collaborative working atmosphere where continuous learning and professional development are highly encouraged, making this an ideal role for someone looking to advance their career in medical administration and aesthetic healthcare support.
