Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a medical assistant preferably in primary care
- graduation from a formal medical assistant program or related program
- national or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred or required where applicable
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start
- phlebotomy experience is required

Job Duties
- Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked
- reviews previous medical information and gathers updated health information
- takes vitals, performs blood draws, gives injections, bandages wounds, assists with procedures
- prepares and administers approved medications and immunizations as ordered
- partners with care team to develop individual patient care plans
- performs front desk duties including scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, coordinating specialist visits and referrals, check-in and check-out
- records accurate data in medical records
- processes test results and delivers timely patient communication
- participates in patient outreach to drive engagement
- maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment
