This advanced building has been meticulously designed to centralize and elevate care for complex neurological conditions such as spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, all under one roof. The new facility features dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown care, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, alongside expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep, and rehabilitation services. This environment not only promotes cutting-edge treatment options but also fosters multidisciplinary collaborations aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing neurological science. The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is a hub for world-class professionals who are engaged in nationally recognized, innovative neurological care, and who are dedicated to pushing the frontiers of research and clinical care. Join them and be part of a transformative movement in healthcare, working alongside some of the most skilled and compassionate caregivers in the field. This role is employed full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times at either 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM and shift end times at 3:30 PM or 5:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday shifts required. The position is designed to offer broad clinical exposure through hands-on involvement in patient care, compliance, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams, providing an excellent foundation for expanding healthcare knowledge and skills. The Medical Assistant will play an integral role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, their families, and visitors. Collaborating closely with both clinical and administrative staff, the Medical Assistant supports medication management, patient monitoring, and various clinical and office tasks integral to the smooth operation of neurological care services. This dynamic and rewarding opportunity is an excellent career path for those passionate about healthcare and interested in developing high-acuity expertise in a specialized and innovative neurological care setting. In addition to supportive teamwork, caregivers will benefit from ongoing professional development and training, including access to Cleveland Clinic's resources and potential rotations through its new facilities. These opportunities encourage long-term career growth within the organization. The Medical Assistant will perform essential functions such as assisting with screenings and treatments, maintaining accurate health records, collecting specimens, performing basic clinical tests, monitoring patient condition changes, managing medical supplies and equipment, and handling administrative duties like scheduling, filing, and data entry. This comprehensive role ensures that the Medical Assistant is deeply involved in both clinical and operational aspects of patient care, making it pivotal in delivering high-quality neurological health services. Cleveland Clinic is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every caregiver can thrive, ensuring diversity and participation in its mission to advance health care worldwide.
