As a Medical Assistant at our facility, you will work directly under the supervision of a physician and collaborate closely with the Clinical Director and Practice Manager. Your role will be vital in supporting patient care by recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms and providing assistance during life-threatening emergencies. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will carry out basic administrative, clerical, and technical support services to ensure smooth office operations. This multi-faceted position requires a professional who is adaptable, knowledgeable, and competent in various medical procedures. Your capacity to manage diverse patient needs, perform clinical tasks such as venipuncture, administering injections, skin testing, and EKGs, as well as help maintain inventory and handle medical documentation, will be essential.
