The Medical Assistant role at Connecticut Pediatrics @ CHC is a full-time position that includes working Monday through Friday with one Saturday per month. The salary offered is $21 per hour, inclusive of comprehensive benefits. A medical assistant sign-on bonus is available, with $500 earned after 90 days if registered (RMA) or certified (AAMA or NHA), and another $500 after 9 months, or a $1,000 bonus if already RMA or CMA at the time of hire. This role is essential in facilitating efficient primary care delivery by providing clinical and technical support to primary care providers, ensuring patient readiness, and maintaining the workflow seamlessly. The Medical Assistant will engage in pre-visit preparation, accurately document clinical findings and screening results, perform vital sign measurements, and conduct clinical tests including EKGs and hearing and vision assessments.
