The Medical Assistant (MA) role at Oak Street Health is a vital part of their care teams, reporting to the Practice Manager or Center Operations Specialist. Medical Assistants play a crucial role in gathering comprehensive medical information about patients to ensure providers have accurate data for healthcare decisions. This position requires high flexibility, energy, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. Medical Assistants collaborate closely with their teammates to provide an unmatched patient experience while contributing to clinical excellence. Their responsibilities include assisting in patient health assessments through screenings and routine diagnostic testing during appointments. The role also involves managing patient flow efficiently, conducting quality control checks, supporting telephonic patient requests, and handling administrative tasks such as importing documents into electronic medical records.

This full-time position offers compensation based on regional bands, with a typical hourly pay range of $18.50 to $31.72, depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Additionally, this role is eligible for CVS Health bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentives. The weekly schedule consists of 40 hours, providing a stable work-life balance.
